FORWARD AND REVERSE OPERATION - Though Jetmounters are designed to feed your work through from the front to the back, they incorporate a useful reverse operation switch that allows for accurate positioning of precision jobs. VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL - For new laminator users the variable speed control is a great feature which allows you to build your confidence by using the machine at lower speeds. As your expertise grows you can move to faster speeds and when producing work in volume the top speed will save you time and money. BOARD THICKNESS ADJUSTMENT - To maximize their versatility, Jetmounters are fitted with variable height adjusters. From the thinnest graphic to the thickest panel, it is simple to set up your Jetmounter to offer the right amount of pressure, uniformly across your work. AUTO OR FOOT OPERATION - Jetmounters can be set to run automatically for the continuous feed of boards, but foot switch operation is preferred by most users, as it allows you to stop and start the machine at will and with both your hands free you can handle even large work with ease. SAFETY FEATURES - Safety in the workshop is vital and the Jetmounter range of laminators use "magic eye" technology to stop the laminator when they detect possible obstructions entering the rollers. Unimount Classic Dry Mount Tissue

This premium grade tissue is widely regarded as the "industry standard" for the permanent mounting of all types of fiat artwork. It is especially popular among bespoke framers and photo processors due to its lay flat properties. Unimount Classic is a high grade adhesive on a porous, pH neutral tissue.

Unimount Classic is suitable for mounting posters, prints, photographs, inkjets, pastels, charcoals, colour copies, maps, charts, blue prints and plans.

Unimount Classic is compatible with a wide variety of. substrates including mount board, pulp and grey boards, foam centred boards, hardboard, MDF and of course, Hot Press's own specialist mounting substrate, White Display Board.

Acid Free Mount Film

A true conservation adhesive, Acid Free Mount Film is recommended for limited editions or even original artwork.

The acid adhesive melts as it is heated and bonds as it cools, therefore the bond can be released later by re-heating the adhesive. Acid Free Mount Film also conforms to uneven surfaces such as watercolour paper and fabrics, making it a highly versatile adhesive for all types of artwork and substrates.

Dry Mount Film Clear

The most aggressive film in the Hot Press range, Dry Mount Film Clear is coated with an acrylic-based tacky adhesive.

Especially recommended for wood, plastics and canvas, this adhesive will bond well to any highly textured or very smooth surface.

Heat Sealing Laminates

Although this process is sometimes ovedooked, the Hot Press range of laminates has many benefits that can yield higher value orders for framers, photographers and print shops. For one thing, all Hot Press laminates contain uv inhibitors to increase the fade resistance of the artwork. They also are unbreakable, easy to keep clean and come in a variety of popular finishes.

Gloss (Lustre) 50micron

The most popular heatseal laminate, this film offers a unique finish that conforms to the surface it is pressed against (under heat). The normal result is a lustre finish transferred from the surface of the foam blanket in the press, but other textures can easily be applied. This film is also used as the top coating when prints are bonded to canvas,

Satin Matt 5Omicron Heatseal Laminate

This film is often used to laminate posters and prints, as its subtle finish closely mimics that of the printed piece. The satin sheen finish reduces glare, but does not reduce contrast, as the film is relatively thin. Also suitable for canvas bonding.

Matt 75micron Heatseal Laminate

This film is characterised by a full matt finish that completely eliminates reflections. It offers additional UV protection when used behind glass, but is almost invisible. Matt film is most often used where lighting is unpredictable and uncontrollable, such as exhibition halls and other public areas. Additional heat applied during processing will give the matt film a textured surface.

Double Sided Mount Film

A pressure sensitive adhesive - coated to either side of a clear 50micron film. Each side is protected by a paper liner. This film
is used in conjunction with the budget mounter to coat all kinds of boards - making them self adhesive, 100 metre roll lengths are also available on request.

Pressure Sensitive Laminating Film

The Hot Press range of pressure-sensitive laminates is designed for use with the JetMounter' and other quality roller laminators. The films provide superior protection from mechanical abrasion, moisture and pollutants. All contain UV stabilisers and absorbers to inhibit fading and discolouration from sunlight. Both decorative and plain finishes are available.

Matt 75micron
