Clear UV acrylic is a plastic which has had UV absorbers added to the polymer at the time of manufacturer. The UV blocking is therefore performed by the body of the sheet itself, not a coating on the sheet. This is the reason why the UV block on acrylics is very high >99%.

There is a small level of colouration comparing ordinary acrylic with UV acrylic but it is very slight.

Clear UV acrylic is guaranteed for at least 10 years without deterioration.
