Mouldings
Wessex have over 1100 mouldings in their range from manufacturers in Italy, Spain and our own factory, Midas Mouldings, in Norfolk. All are available in single sticks but there are discounts depending on the quantity you buy.
Plain Woods are some of the most popular mouldings at present because of their versatility. A wide variety of finishes can be applied (see wood finishing products) to give an almost infinite number of finishes. Plain woods are available in Pine, Oak, Ash, Beech, Koto and Obeche. Please be aware that plain woods can vary both in grain and colour.
Also very popular are the Black or White mouldings. These come in many finishes from smooth to grainy and matt to glossy.
The newest range addition is PolcoreÒ, a high quality expanded polystyrene core moulding, easily cut and joined using standard framing guillotine or circular saw and underpinner. These mouldings offer unbeatable value, quality and style.
All of our mouldings have been categorized by colour to help you find what you are looking for more easily.
** Please be aware that the lengths of mouldings can vary from batch to batch. We will endeavour to send as close to the amount that you order but will always send to the next nearest length over what you have ordered unless you specifially ask us not to. We will only send out complete lengths.
